Contrary to many resorts, «Le pays d’en haut»* has remained true to its long standing tradition of authentic Swiss chalets and surrounding architecture and culinary culture and life style. Families are made welcome on and off the slopes and the service is excellent, making it pleasant for both children and parents, this is probably why the area has been attracting generations of families for years.

All the winter and summer sports are close at hand, skiing, heli-skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledging, ice skating, curling, climbing, mountain biking (and a sports centre offers swimming, climbing, tennis and badminton) Alternatively hiking, river rafting and a variety of adrenalin producing activities for all ages !! The tele-cabins are operational all summer long with picnic areas and restaurants available when you reach the top of these green pastures.
The domain is vast, sledging is a traditional sport here with runs ranging from
3-6 km long, and sledges are available for rental on the slopes. In the winter these wide slopes offer a unique experience to all levels of skiing, with the Glacier 3000 starting at the end of October through to July. And for those who prefer a lunch in the sun, the terraces and culinary specialities are a delight.
